課程概述 |
資訊組織是藉由描述資訊物件（information objects）之載體與內容，建立代表原件之替代記錄(surrogate / representation)，並予以系統化的組織，建置成檢索工具，以幫助使用者依其資訊需求查詢、檢索、辨識、評估、及查知資料所在。建立具辨識性的替代記錄與系統性的查詢機制，可說是資訊組織的兩項基本概念。 |

課程目標 |
本課程的目標，在幫助學習者瞭解資訊組織之意義及相關工作流程，掌握如何利用相關規範描述資訊物件，如何為替代記錄選擇檢索點及建構系統性的檢索工具，如何執行權威控制工作，如何利用機讀格式將資料登錄建檔等。
另外，亦希望同學對FRBR、Metadata、RDA等相關概念，能有基本認識。 |
